The local animation team was the best team possible. So kind and nice people in the team. It was an extremly nice experience for the stay there with them. Totally friendly to us and our kids, always happy and tried their best. Especially Adelmo, Christian, Darlene, Darlene, Eduardo, Etson, Kylie, Patrik, Rider and Ruana (alphabetical order) were especially kind and tried to make all possible. They all made the stay very nice and heartfelt. They made the hotel feel like a second home, especially for our kids. The other boss of the local animation team (not Ruana) sadly just stood by the side, and never took part of dances (Ruana did), she also always looked like she was in a bad mood, and if she was there it felt like she would watch every move of the others out of the team in an arrogant way. You could nearly feel the whole air tense when she came. The employees of the buffet were all also very kind, hardworking and tried their best to fullfill all your wishes. The buffet was very nice with all the different themes per day and the big range of different dishes. The activites they offered were very nice to take part of especially Yoga in the morning. Also all the dancing lessons were very great. It was also very nice that you always could participate at the dances of the team they did. The shows in the evenings were great to watch, but our favorite one was the Cabo Verde show were only the local animation team took part. We were able to see it twice. But the first time was different from the second, because the boss changed something, that was kind of sad, because it was a nice scenery with Eduardo and one of the others playing Oril, and also with a few of them off the stage acting like field workers. It was very nice to see how they cared for our children and spent time with them. For teenagers it would be great if you would give them another bracelet than little children, because it's a little bit childlike for them. So all together it was one of the best vacations we had until now and hope to come back one day.
Exploring Boa Vista visited this beautiful hotel and resort. Although impressed we ordered a drink at the bar with the intention of course to pay. Since we were not a guest we were ordered in a rather blunt and unfriendly way by a member of reception staff to leave the hotel. We can understand that this is most likely due to the policy of the hotel, however, the way we were adressed is far from client oriented. You lost a potential client which could have been avoided even more since we stayed before at Barcelo Madrid which was a super experience
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel located right next to a quiet and spacious beach. There is plenty of room both on the beach and within the hotel premises — including the dining area, bars, and poolside. There are enough sunbeds and umbrellas, all free of charge for hotel guests. The beach itself is beautiful, with soft white sand, clean water, and a shallow shoreline with moderate waves — perfect for swimming and relaxing. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and cleaned daily. If you're on the ground floor, there's even outdoor seating right outside your room, which is a nice touch. There are two swimming pools with slightly salty water, and both are well-maintained. The food was very good — not in huge quantities, but carefully selected and tasty. Each day offered a different cuisine, such as Mexican, Asian, or Portuguese, always with a good variety to choose from. The desserts and fresh fruit were excellent. What really stood out for us was the animation team. They truly made us feel at home and treated every guest as their top priority. We became friends with many of them in just one week. Their work goes far beyond the evening shows — they interact with guests throughout the day, invite you for a drink or a game, chat with you, and make you feel included. They bring so much positive energy to the place and genuinely feel like one big family. Their presence made a huge difference and created a warm, welcoming atmosphere we’ll never forget. We’d like to send a special hello and heartfelt thanks to Sharon, Christian, Marco, Ruana, and Mel! We were touched to receive birthday wishes in our language for our son, right in our room on his birthday. It was a small thing that made a big difference.
The animation team is great; they try something new every day to get you to do things with them. The best of them is Ryder with his open personality. But the other staff are also really friendly and do a good job.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. All the staff were amazing—very friendly and always willing to help. A special shoutout to the entertainment team: they were outstanding! By far the best entertainment team I've seen; they did an incredible job keeping everyone engaged and entertained. The food was excellent during the first few days of my stay. While there were a few meals later on that had room for improvement, it was still great value for the price and overall maintained a very good standard. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel. It was a fantastic stay and I would definitely come back again.
